Private Party Transfer (PPT) — Policies & Requirements
Please read all policies carefully before your appointment. PPT service is available Wednesday, Thursday & Friday only, by appointment. All appointments require a background check.
If you do not have the proper documents, your appointment will be cancelled with no rescheduling. No exceptions. Ensure your firearm is unloaded and all serial numbers are visible before arriving.
PPT days — by appointment only:
Maximum 2 firearms per week per person
Each firearm takes approx. 30 minutes to process
Arriving 15+ minutes late cancels your appointment
Cancel or reschedule at least 1 hour before
Valid government-issued ID — no PO Box or UPS Store addresses accepted
If your ID doesn’t show your current address, bring a government-issued secondary proof (e.g. car registration) — private company documents such as utility bills are not accepted

Remove any accessories you do not want included in the sale before arriving. Using our tools to remove them costs $50
Bring only the firearm, its container, and included magazine(s) — no ammunition

A firearm safety device is required by California law

We do not accept the FSD that came with the used gun
Rifle safe affidavit: know your safe’s make and model in advance
Handgun safe affidavit: look up your safe on the DOJ approved list, print it, and bring it. We will not search for you — if unprepared, you will purchase the $7 FSD
